Mineraloelraffinerie Oberrhein (MIRO) is currently in the final run-up of its six-week plant shutdown for the purpose of cleaning, repairing, optimizing and inspecting its plant infrastructure for technical approval. A considerable investment package in the amount of appr. 300 million euros should secure the future and effectiveness of the location and send out a positive sign. In the course of these measures, we monitored and documented the blasting and coating works of two ovens, including oven pipes and pipelines, alternating in day and night shifts. The KOR Akademie founded just this year, a subsidiary of Helmut Müller GmbH, successfully held its first face-to-face training about the basics of corrosion protection in Bremerhaven this week. The large number of participants from various application areas acknowledged our trainers a competent and successful event regarding the theme contents, the training structure and the organization.
